Kaspersky has introduced a new AI-focused module within its Kaspersky Automated Security Awareness Platform (ASAP), designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to tackle AI-driven cyber threats. This launch addresses the growing need for enhanced cybersecurity training related to artificial intelligence.
The new module is structured into two levels. Level 1 covers how cybercriminals exploit AI for malicious purposes, including creating fake videos, counterfeit photographs, voice impersonation, and fraudulent AI-generated services. It aims to arm professionals with the knowledge to recognize and counter these deceptive tactics.
Level 2 explores the risks associated with AI in professional environments, such as the dangers of sharing confidential data, decision-making errors, copyright issues, AI jailbreaks, neural network biases, and AI system hacking. This level is designed to deepen understanding of these advanced threats and enhance the ability to manage them effectively.
Tatyana Shumaylova, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Kaspersky Security Awareness, emphasized the importance of this module in helping professionals stay ahead of evolving AI-driven cyber threats. She highlighted that the course aims to foster vigilance and strengthen organizational defenses against emerging digital risks.
The course is accessible to users with no prior AI knowledge, ensuring broad accessibility while delivering comprehensive training on robust cybersecurity practices. This initiative represents a significant step in empowering users to navigate the complex landscape of AI-related cyber threats.
By incorporating this new module, Kaspersky continues to advance its commitment to providing cutting-edge security awareness solutions, supporting users in effectively mitigating the risks posed by AI-driven cyberattacks.
