Yas Comores has inaugurated the first digital store in the Comoros, expanding its customer-facing presence as the operator works to make digital services more accessible across the country.
Located on the Route de l’Alliance Française, the new store is designed to provide customers with easier access to Yas Comores services and in-person support. A dedicated team will be available to assist customers throughout their interactions with the operator.
The inauguration was attended by Oumouri Mmadi Hassani, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, Digital Economy and Transparency. His participation highlights the government’s focus on bringing digital transformation initiatives closer to communities across the Comoros.
Yas Comores said the new store forms part of its broader efforts to improve access to digital services and bring its offerings closer to customers. The operator views the expansion as another step towards creating a more accessible digital environment.
The new location is expected to provide customers with a physical point of contact for accessing services and receiving assistance, complementing the growing role of digital technology in everyday activities.
The launch comes as telecommunications operators across Africa continue to expand customer service infrastructure while supporting wider digital inclusion and transformation efforts.
