Egypt’s National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) has signed a cooperation protocol with the Sadat Academy for Administrative Sciences to expand collaboration in student training, scientific research and academic supervision.
The agreement aims to strengthen the connection between academic education and practical technological training while creating opportunities for students and graduates to develop skills relevant to the communications and information technology sectors.
The protocol was signed in Cairo on 5 November 2026 by Ahmed Khattab, Director of NTI, and Mohamed Saleh, President of the Sadat Academy for Administrative Sciences.
Under the agreement, NTI will provide training opportunities for the academy’s students and graduates through its specialised training facilities, international academies and partnerships with major technology companies. The institutions will also explore establishing corresponding academies and training programmes tailored to students’ needs and evolving technological developments.
The partnership will extend to joint scientific research, academic thesis supervision and the exchange of academic and technological expertise. It will also include conferences, seminars, workshops and collaborative projects and initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
NTI Director Ahmed Khattab said the agreement would help integrate academic knowledge, practical training and applied research. He added that the institute intends to make its training capabilities and industry partnerships available to the academy’s students and graduates while supporting joint research and academic development.
Sadat Academy President Mohamed Saleh described the agreement as a model for connecting administrative sciences with digital technological development. He identified joint research, academic supervision, and training and capacity building as the three main areas of cooperation.
Both institutions said the partnership would strengthen students’ and graduates’ research and technological capabilities while helping prepare qualified professionals for developments in the communications and information technology industries.
