Deloitte Africa has been named AWS Consulting Partner of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2026 AWS Partner Summit and Awards, held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand on 18 August 2026.
The award recognises the leading consulting partner demonstrating strong performance across areas including revenue growth, skills and capability development, and the achievement of AWS competencies and designations.
Deloitte Africa’s collaboration with organisations including Gold Fields and Trident Steel was highlighted during the summit as an example of how cloud and AI technologies can support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
For Gold Fields, Deloitte implemented a solution that reduced incident reporting times from weeks to hours, enabling faster responses and improving operational efficiency.
Deloitte Africa also worked with AWS to develop an advanced monitoring centre that combines human expertise with AI-driven intelligence to identify risks and generate incident reports in real time, supporting faster and more informed decision-making.
The recognition reinforces Deloitte Africa’s continued focus on cloud and AI innovation as organisations across the continent accelerate their digital transformation efforts.
