Digital Parks Africa (DPA), the data centre business associated with the Master Power Technologies Group, is expanding its footprint into West Africa with the development of Nigeria Data Centre 1 (NDC1), a new carrier-neutral data centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
The facility is being developed to serve businesses, financial institutions, banks, cloud providers and connectivity providers seeking reliable, resilient and flexible digital infrastructure located close to the markets they serve.
The investment comes as Nigeria and other African markets experience growing demand for cloud services, digital platforms, connectivity and data-intensive business operations. NDC1 is intended to strengthen local infrastructure supporting critical digital services and help organisations improve performance, resilience and connectivity.
The development also builds on the Master Power Technologies Group’s longstanding presence in Nigeria, which dates back to 2001. DPA is extending the Group’s established power and technical expertise into the data centre sector as part of its broader African digital infrastructure strategy.
The NDC1 announcement was officially made during ITW Africa in Kenya on September 8, 2026.
