The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched services.gov.ng, a centralised digital gateway designed to give citizens, entrepreneurs and businesses a single point of access to government services online.

Developed through the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, the platform brings together services that were previously distributed across multiple government agency websites and physical offices. Users can access services covering business registration, trade permits, identity verification, regulatory licensing, empowerment programmes and civic initiatives.

The portal is designed to simplify interactions with government by enabling users to submit applications, verify official information and access government opportunities without navigating multiple platforms or relying on third-party intermediaries.

The initiative forms part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which includes digital transformation, institutional transparency, public-sector efficiency and improved service delivery.

By consolidating services through a single verified platform, the government aims to reduce administrative duplication and delays while improving accessibility and helping users avoid fraudulent websites and scams.

The launch adds to Nigeria’s broader push to build a more integrated digital public sector and make government services more accessible to citizens and businesses.
