TheBoardroom Africa has officially launched EMERGE, a new career development platform designed to help young African professionals access the skills, mentorship, networks and employment opportunities needed to build sustainable careers across the continent.
Developed with support from the Mastercard Foundation, the platform brings together structured learning, leadership assessments, mentorship, peer networking, employer engagement and curated career opportunities within a single ecosystem aimed at strengthening Africa’s talent pipeline.
EMERGE has already attracted more than 1,700 young professionals from across Africa, with women representing approximately 60% of its membership. The initiative seeks to address longstanding barriers to career progression by connecting talent with the resources and opportunities needed for long-term professional growth.
Beyond supporting professionals, the platform also enables employers to identify, develop and retain emerging talent through workforce insights and leadership development tools, helping build a stronger and more inclusive employment ecosystem across Africa.
