Vertiv has appointed IoT Misr as a Vertiv Diamond Partner in Egypt, expanding their collaboration as demand for data centre infrastructure continues to grow across the country. The partnership comes amid rising adoption of cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and advanced connectivity.
Research from Arizton in 2026 projects that Egypt’s data centre market will grow from USD 305 million in 2025 to USD 865 million by 2031, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.97%.
Through the expanded partnership, Vertiv will work with IoT Misr to improve customer access to its portfolio of power, cooling and digital infrastructure solutions. The Diamond Partner designation will give IoT Misr access to enhanced training, technical resources and closer collaboration with Vertiv teams, supporting the deployment and maintenance of critical digital infrastructure.
Ehab El Hefnawy, regional director for Northeast Africa at Vertiv, said the expanded relationship would strengthen both companies’ ability to support the availability and efficiency of data centres, telecommunications networks and mission-critical applications.
He added that the companies would help organisations access infrastructure solutions designed to improve the resilience and continuity of critical digital applications. Vertiv’s experience in data centre infrastructure is expected to support customers as digital workloads and operational requirements evolve.
Amr Nour, CEO of IoT Misr, said the partnership would strengthen services available to existing data centre customers while helping both companies pursue new opportunities across Egypt. He said the Diamond Partner appointment supports IoT Misr’s objective of expanding its presence in the country’s developing data centre market.
Under the agreement, customers will be able to access Vertiv solutions covering critical power systems, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and power distribution, as well as thermal management, integrated and modular data centre infrastructure, racks, containment and monitoring and management solutions.
The collaboration will also provide project and commissioning services, preventive maintenance, technical support and lifecycle services. These offerings are designed to help organisations maintain, optimise and extend the operational life of critical infrastructure.
The partnership is expected to support infrastructure requirements associated with high-growth technologies and workloads, including AI, cloud computing, edge computing, 5G networks and high-performance computing (HPC).
Both companies are also focusing on energy-efficient data centre solutions to improve operational efficiency, resource utilisation, infrastructure resilience and reliability, and business continuity as digital environments become more complex.
The appointment strengthens Vertiv’s local partner network in Egypt as investment in digital infrastructure expands. By combining Vertiv’s infrastructure portfolio with IoT Misr’s local expertise, the companies aim to help organisations address growing capacity, reliability and efficiency requirements in the country’s data centre sector.
