Bode Abifarin Appointed Managing Director and CEO of MoMo PSB
Bode Abifarin has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB), effective September 1, 2026.
Abifarin brings more than 23 years of experience across financial services, consulting, digital payments, fintech, strategy and business transformation.
Her appointment comes as MoMo PSB seeks to strengthen its leadership and accelerate the expansion of digital financial services in Nigeria.
Before joining MoMo PSB, Abifarin served as Chief Operating Officer at Flutterwave, where she contributed to scaling the fintech company across multiple markets.
She also spent 15 years at KPMG, advising organisations across Africa on strategy, business transformation, customer experience and growth.
In her new role, Abifarin will lead MoMo PSB through its next phase of growth, focusing on expanding access to innovative, secure and customer-focused digital financial services.
Her mandate will also include supporting greater financial inclusion and creating additional value for individuals, businesses and communities through digital financial solutions.
The appointment reflects the growing importance of payment service banks and fintech platforms in expanding access to financial services, particularly among underserved communities.
As digital payments continue to grow across Nigeria and the wider African market, MoMo PSB is positioning its services to play a greater role in advancing financial inclusion and supporting the country’s evolving digital economy.
