Vodacom Tanzania Plc has reported continued customer growth and increased network investment as the company focuses on long-term expansion and shareholder value following its Tenth Annual General Meeting.
The company said its customer base reached 27.7 million in FY2026, while network investment increased by 85.1%, supporting wider connectivity and strengthening its telecommunications infrastructure.
Shareholders at the AGM also approved a total dividend of TZS 53.5 billion, representing an 18.4% increase.
Vodacom Tanzania CEO Philip Besiimire attributed the company’s performance to long-term shareholder commitment, disciplined investment, strong corporate governance and the contribution of its employees.
The company said the tenth AGM marks a decade of growth shaped by continued investment and stakeholder trust, with its focus now shifting towards sustaining growth, expanding connectivity and delivering value to shareholders.
