The Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA) has announced a major leadership milestone with the appointment of Ali Al Hashemi, CEO of Space Services at Space42, as its new Chair of the Board. Alongside him, two distinguished leaders have been named Vice Chairs: Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of SES, and Jane Nkechi Egerton-Idehen, CEO of NIGCOMSAT. This leadership renewal comes at a pivotal moment for the satellite industry, which continues to play a central role in driving digital transformation and enabling global connectivity.
GSOA represents the full spectrum of the satellite ecosystem, from established operators to new innovators working across all orbits and frequency bands. Ali Al Hashemi expressed his gratitude and vision, noting that his election as Chair is both personally and professionally significant.
