Her track record includes leading multimillion-dollar businesses across 33 Sub-Saharan African countries and successfully managing several mergers and acquisitions.
In her new role, Hardie will be responsible for expanding Check Point’s market share across Africa by broadening its distribution and partner network while driving increased adoption of cybersecurity solutions across the continent. Her leadership experience and extensive background in business growth will be pivotal in Check Point’s strategic expansion across Africa.
Before joining Check Point, Hardie served as a senior leader at VMware by Broadcom, where she received numerous accolades for her exceptional sales achievements. Beyond her remarkable business achievements, Hardie is passionate about driving diversity in the tech industry. She has long advocated for inclusive teamwork and the advancement of women in IT. During her time at VMware, she established a strong network of women leaders and championed initiatives aimed at developing young female talent in the tech sector.
In her new role at Check Point, Hardie is committed to not only expanding the company’s presence across Africa but also strengthening the continent’s cybersecurity workforce. She will continue to drive initiatives such as Secure Academy, which partners with educational institutions to provide training and certification opportunities that address Africa’s critical cybersecurity skills gap.
Hardie’s appointment signals Check Point’s deepened commitment to Africa’s digital future, as the company continues to invest in developing a skilled, resilient cybersecurity workforce to safeguard the continent’s growing digital economy.
