Airtel Kenya has further strengthened its presence in the coastal region with the opening of a new Airtel Money Branch in Mombasa’s Central Business District (CBD). This new branch is a strategic addition to Airtel’s extensive network, which now includes over 2,600 Airtel Money branches across the country. The expansion underscores Airtel’s commitment to enhancing service accessibility for its growing customer base.
Located on Haille Selassie Road, off Digo Road, the new branch is positioned to efficiently serve the increasing number of Airtel Money agents in the region. It is designed to facilitate float purchase and float balancing, providing essential services to ensure smooth and efficient operations for Airtel Money agents.
Anne Kinuthia Otieno, Airtel Money Managing Director, emphasized the significance of this new branch during the launch. “With the launch of our new Airtel Money Branch, we are committed to enhancing the accessibility and convenience of Airtel Money services for our agents,” said Otieno. She highlighted that the branch would improve the efficiency and reliability of services by providing convenient access to float purchase and balancing.
The new branch will offer a comprehensive range of services to meet various customer needs. These include Airtel Money deposits and withdrawals, agent float purchase and balancing, SIM activation for both prepaid and post-paid connections, Home Broadband devices, airtime sales in retail and wholesale, SIM swaps, and general customer inquiries.
This strategically located branch aims to serve Mombasa CBD and the surrounding areas, ensuring that Airtel customers and agents have easy access to necessary services without traveling long distances. The addition of this branch reflects Airtel’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint and enhance customer convenience.
