Exciting news from TRIFIC SEZ and Chanzo Capital! They’ve launched the Chanzo ONESPACE Startup and Scaleup Accelerator (COSSA) program at the Two Rivers International Finance and Innovation Centre Special Economic Zone.
The COSSA program, hosted at ONESPACE within TRIFIC SEZ, focuses on scaling up tech ventures across Africa. The inaugural cohort includes promising Kenyan companies like SaveApp, At Large Innovation, and CheckUPS COVA, poised to expand regionally.
Supported by Chanzo Capital’s KINGS Fund across Kenya, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, COSSA aims to leverage the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) to create African multinational corporations.
Brenda Mbathi, CEO of TRIFIC SEZ, expressed enthusiasm about COSSA’s potential to attract high-tech firms, enhancing the SEZ’s reputation as a hub for innovation and economic growth.
Ian Kabiru, CEO of ONESPACE, highlighted the program’s role in empowering entrepreneurs and generating employment opportunities within TRIFIC SEZ’s supportive environment.

Chanzo Capital will culminate COSSA with the 11th Angel Fair Africa in Nairobi, providing scaleups with a platform to pitch their businesses to a broader investor audience.
