Paul Russo, CEO of KCB Group, has been honored as the African Business Leader of the Year by Africa Leadership Magazine, recognizing his transformative vision and outstanding contributions to the banking sector across the continent.
Russo’s selection followed a rigorous competition across Africa, where his leadership qualities, commitment to innovation, and contributions to socio-economic development were key criteria.
Under Russo’s leadership, KCB Group has achieved significant milestones, including growing its asset value to Sh2 trillion and reclaiming its position as the most profitable bank in East Africa with a 69 percent rise in Q1 net profit to Sh16.5 billion.
