Stanbic Bank (Uganda) Limited welcomes Kenneth Ogwang, an esteemed digital and technology expert, to its board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
With over two decades of experience in the IT industry across various African countries, Kenneth brings a wealth of transformative leadership to his new role.
Currently serving as Diageo’s Head of Digital and Technology for Eastern and Southern Africa, based at EABL offices in Nairobi, Kenya, Kenneth has garnered accolades for his contributions to IT development in the region, including being named CIO of the Year in 2016 and earning a spot in the East Africa CIO Hall of Fame in 2019.
Kenneth’s impressive educational background, including a first-class honors degree in Statistics (Computing) from Makerere University Kampala and an MBA in Strategy from United States International University in Kenya, underscores his expertise in driving technological innovation and strategic growth initiatives.
As he joins the board of Stanbic Bank (Uganda) Limited, Kenneth’s leadership is poised to play a pivotal role in steering the bank towards digital transformation and fostering sustainable development across the financial landscape of Uganda.
