The Energy And Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) lowers fuel prices in Nairobi, with petrol, diesel, and kerosene witnessing a decrease of Sh1 per litre.

This move follows declines in the average landed cost of imported fuels, providing relief to consumers and businesses amid a global economic slowdown. Lower energy costs are expected to benefit manufacturing, motorists, and households, reducing production expenses and saving money.

The price adjustments, inclusive of VAT, align with tax regulations and aim to reflect current market conditions. EPRA’s decision marks the second consecutive month of fuel price reductions, signalling a trend influenced by global economic factors.

As fuel prices continue to decrease, consumers can anticipate cost savings and improved affordability in the transportation and energy sectors.
