Egypt’s National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has signed a cooperation protocol with Al-Riyada University for Science and Technology to strengthen digital skills among students and graduates. The partnership will support training, research and innovation while helping align university education with the needs of the technology and telecommunications job market.
Under the agreement, students will have access to NTI training programmes covering areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things, embedded systems, mobile communications, fibre optics, web design, graphics and freelancing.
The partnership will also provide opportunities for students to participate in NTI’s summer training programmes, gain practical experience alongside their academic studies and earn accredited NTI certificates upon completing the relevant programmes. Students may also have opportunities to pursue international certifications in related fields.
Beyond technical training, NTI and Al-Riyada University will collaborate on workshops, specialised events, graduation projects and scientific research. The partners also plan to encourage innovation and the development of technology applications that can address practical industry needs.
The initiative forms part of Egypt’s wider efforts to strengthen digital capabilities and prepare young people for emerging opportunities in the technology sector.
