NITDA has concluded its 2026 Kids Long Vacation Coding Bootcamp across Kano, Kwara, Jigawa and Gombe states, introducing children to coding, computational thinking, digital creativity and emerging technologies.
The programme also focused on critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, persistence and problem-solving, with participants in the completed locations receiving certificates and gadgets in recognition of their achievements.
Similar training activities remain underway across Nigeria’s South-South, South-East and South-West regions as NITDA continues to expand access to early digital skills development nationwide.
The agency said the initiative is aimed at nurturing young digital creators and future technology leaders by encouraging children to apply their skills through practical projects, competitions, exploration and collaboration.
NITDA reaffirmed its commitment to equipping young Nigerians with the technological skills needed to support the country’s digital transformation and build a globally competitive digital workforce.
