Blademy, a connected-health solution revolutionizing chronic disease management in West Africa, has secured funding from FasterCapital through its EquityPilot program. This investment will accelerate the deployment of Blademy’s offline-capable, Bluetooth-connected health platform designed to address critical care gaps in diabetes, hypertension, and gout management across the region. The support from FasterCapital provides Blademy with the resources needed to strengthen its technological infrastructure, enhance distribution, and scale its impact in underserved communities.

At the core of Blademy’s innovation is its integrated ecosystem that combines affordable Bluetooth-enabled medical devices—including glucometers, tensiometers, and uric acid testers—with an Android/iOS app capable of syncing data offline. The system empowers patients to monitor their health seamlessly while allowing clinicians to access accurate, real-time data for improved treatment outcomes. This offline-first design ensures accessibility even in areas with limited internet connectivity, making it an ideal solution for emerging markets across West Africa.

Arthur Yoffoua, CEO of Agence Digitale N’zassa (Blademy), highlighted that the partnership with FasterCapital validates Blademy’s mission to deliver affordable, connected care where it’s needed most. With FasterCapital’s backing, the company plans to accelerate device procurement, finalize the mobile platform, and initiate pilot programs focused on reducing health complications and costs for millions. Blademy’s model combines low-cost devices—priced at nearly one-third of imported alternatives—with a consumables-based recurring revenue approach, driving sustainability and rapid adoption through pharmacies, clinics, and NGOs.

Through the EquityPilot program, Blademy gains access to growth capital, global mentorship, go-to-market support, and fundraising assistance. FasterCapital’s selective acceleration model supports startups demonstrating product-market fit and scalable business models. This collaboration will enable Blademy to advance regulatory processes, strengthen distribution networks, and launch pilot programs in Ghana and Senegal within six months, with subsequent expansion into Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso. According to FasterCapital Founder and CEO Hesham Zreik, Blademy represents a model of pragmatic innovation that blends simple hardware and smart software to create tangible healthcare impact in emerging markets.

Looking ahead, Blademy is focused on completing app finalization, procuring 10,000 devices for pilot distribution, and achieving its first large-scale rollout across West Africa. The company aims to raise an additional $300,000–$400,000 to support procurement, software completion, and launch marketing. With a 5–7 year strategic horizon, Blademy envisions scaling into a regional market leader in connected chronic disease management—bridging technology, healthcare, and accessibility for millions.
