Safaricom Ethiopia Foundation and the Federation of Ethiopian Associations of Persons with Disabilities (FEAPD) have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing disability inclusion and expanding opportunities for persons with disabilities across Ethiopia.
The partnership establishes a framework for collaboration across key areas, including digital inclusion, accessible technology, inclusive education, economic empowerment, healthcare and advocacy for disability rights.
By combining their expertise, resources and networks, the two organisations aim to address barriers that limit participation and improve access to essential services and opportunities for persons with disabilities.
The agreement reflects the growing role of digital technology in promoting accessibility and creating more inclusive communities. Through the three-year collaboration, Safaricom Ethiopia Foundation and FEAPD will work to strengthen access to technology, education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
The initiative forms part of Safaricom Ethiopia Foundation’s broader efforts to support a more inclusive and equitable society across Ethiopia.
