Hubtel has partnered with Mobile Money Fintech Limited (MMFL) to support the development of emerging fintech innovators through the 2026 MoMo Fintech Lab.
The partnership positions Hubtel as the Official Technology Partner of the three-month national programme, which is designed to help fintech innovators develop and scale their ideas through hackathons, mentorship and incubation support.
The programme, launched on 12 August 2026 in Accra, will be implemented across Accra, Kumasi and Tamale before culminating in a national Demo Day. The regional approach is intended to expand opportunities for fintech talent beyond Ghana’s capital.
Hubtel will contribute its expertise in payments, technology and product development, helping participants transform promising concepts into practical solutions for Ghana’s digital economy.
The initiative brings together fintech innovators, technology companies, industry stakeholders and policymakers as Ghana continues to strengthen its digital financial services ecosystem.
The partnership also highlights the growing importance of industry support in helping technology startups move beyond ideation and develop solutions capable of addressing real challenges for businesses and consumers.
