Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vodacom Tanzania to strengthen the country’s investment environment through digital connectivity and technology solutions.
The partnership will combine TISEZA’s role in promoting, coordinating and facilitating investment with Vodacom Tanzania’s expertise in digital communications and technology solutions for businesses and institutions.
TISEZA Director General Gilead Teri said stronger government-private sector collaboration will be important to achieving Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050, particularly by supporting innovation, digital infrastructure and more efficient services.
The agreement will also create opportunities for collaboration on business and investment opportunities, digital infrastructure and investment promotion activities.
Vodacom Tanzania said the partnership is expected to expand access to digital services for investors while contributing to efforts to create a more investor-friendly business environment.
