Gabon is strengthening the digital infrastructure supporting public services following the completion of an information systems audit at the National Health Insurance and Social Guarantee Fund (CNAMGS).
The audit was carried out through cooperation between the National Agency for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies (ANINF) and CNAMGS, three months after the two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding.
ANINF has submitted the audit findings to CNAMGS, providing an assessment of its information systems and identifying key requirements for more reliable and efficient digital services.
The exercise highlighted the importance of skilled digital professionals, secure and reliable data, and resilient infrastructure capable of maintaining service availability and continuity.
The partnership forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Gabon’s digital sovereignty and modernise public administration, with ANINF providing technical expertise and support to government institutions.
The initiative is expected to contribute to more reliable digital public services while helping ensure that technology infrastructure better meets the needs of citizens and other users.
