Telna has partnered with Bayobab to accelerate the deployment of travel eSIM services across multiple African markets, combining digital eSIM capabilities with international connectivity infrastructure.
The partnership brings together Telna’s CONNECT platform and Bayobab’s IPX capabilities, enabling mobile operators to launch branded travel eSIM services through digital channels while maintaining their local brands.
Telna’s platform will provide the digital enablement layer for the services, while Bayobab’s IPX infrastructure will support international connectivity, eSIM activation and usage across participating markets.
The companies said the joint approach is designed to reduce deployment complexity, improve consistency across markets and help operators respond to growing demand for seamless cross-border connectivity.
The partnership also creates a framework for expanding digital connectivity services as customer needs and mobile technology continue to evolve across Africa.
