Telecom Namibia has announced the extension of Armando Perny’s appointment as Acting Chief Executive Officer for a further six months, effective from August 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.
The extension is intended to provide leadership continuity as the state-owned telecommunications operator continues implementing its strategic priorities, strengthening operational performance and delivering reliable telecommunications services across Namibia.
Since assuming the role in an acting capacity, Perny has overseen the company’s ongoing transformation initiatives, with a focus on service excellence, operational efficiency and business performance.
The Board of Directors expressed confidence in the leadership team’s ability to execute Telecom Namibia’s strategic objectives while enhancing customer experience, driving innovation and creating long-term value for stakeholders.
Telecom Namibia said it remains committed to strengthening its network infrastructure, expanding digital connectivity and supporting Namibia’s socio-economic development through world-class telecommunications and ICT services.
