Founded in May by 19-year-old entrepreneur Njeze Okechukwu, the platform introduces an automated interval system that securely shares location updates with trusted family members, creating a real-time digital trail that can provide valuable context during emergencies.
Unlike traditional safety applications that rely on users manually checking in or triggering alerts during a crisis, Live Intervals focuses on prevention by automating location updates. The approach is intended to reduce the need for manual intervention while giving families greater visibility into loved ones’ journeys.
The company says its platform has been built with efficiency in mind, delivering high-precision location tracking while minimizing the infrastructure costs typically associated with location-based services.
Although only a few weeks after launch, Live Intervals reports strong early traction, with 320 unique device acquisitions and engagement levels indicating that users are incorporating the platform into their everyday routines.
The startup is currently focused on the Nigerian market, where personal safety during daily travel remains an important concern. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand internationally as it continues developing proactive safety technology for a broader global audience.
With safety technology increasingly shifting toward preventive solutions, Live Intervals aims to redefine how individuals and families approach personal security through automation and real-time awareness.
