Acer Africa has announced a strategic partnership with Syntech Distribution to expand its reach across the continent, with a focus on Google Chromebooks. This partnership will enable Acer to enhance its collaboration with educational partners, especially in the deployment of Google for Education solutions, while Syntech will distribute Acer’s entire line of commercial products.
As part of this new venture, Acer aims to bring more Google devices to the market, alongside its renowned range of commercial products, providing African customers with access to cutting-edge technology. This move further underscores Acer’s commitment to empowering education and businesses across the region.
The partnership comes at an exciting time for Acer, as the company has also revealed its plans to start manufacturing monitors in South Africa. He noted that the collaboration will allow Acer to be more customer-centric, offering a platform to reach new markets with innovative devices like Chrome OS and Microsoft-powered solutions.
Ryan Martyn, co-founder and sales and marketing director of Syntech, highlighted the importance of using technology to improve lives in Africa. Through this partnership, Syntech aims to deliver Acer’s products to more consumers, contributing to technological advancement across the continent.
