PrideInn Hotels & Resorts unveiled Sayari, an eco-friendly restaurant located at their PrideInn Westlands outlet. This launch aligns with the hotel chain’s commitment to sustainability and follows their rebranding effort from last November. The restaurant, named “Sayari” which means “planet,” represents a significant step in PrideInn’s long-term energy efficiency and environmental strategy.

Managing Director Mr. Hasnain Noorani, OGW, emphasized the chain’s dedication to eco-friendly practices, which resonate with Kenya’s vision for environmental conservation. He noted that the materials used in Sayari are eco-friendly and mentioned PrideInn’s ambitious goal of planting one million trees as part of their environmental conservation efforts.

Mr. Noorani also highlighted the chain’s commitment to reducing energy consumption by creating open spaces to replace air conditioners and launching a solar project to complement their energy sources. Furthermore, PrideInn is actively phasing out plastics across its properties to minimize environmental impact.

The Sayari restaurant features an all-day dining experience with a diverse range of cuisines, reflecting PrideInn’s commitment to sustainability while offering guests high-quality dining options. This initiative is part of the hotel’s broader growth strategy, which includes plans to expand their footprint beyond the current locations.

PrideInn currently operates eight hotels in Mombasa, Maasai Mara, and Nairobi, with future plans to extend their presence to other regions of Kenya. The launch of Sayari marks a significant milestone in their journey towards becoming a leading example of sustainability in the hospitality industry.
