Hisense, a leading electronics producer, celebrates its impactful contribution to South Africa’s economy and community development!

Since launching its Western Cape factory in 2013, Hisense has proudly become Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest television production hub. The Atlantis facility stands as a beacon of sustainability and innovation, having manufactured an impressive 4.5 million televisions and 2.9 million refrigerators. This achievement underscores Hisense’s commitment to local manufacturing and economic growth.

During a recent corporate social responsibility initiative in Atlantis, Luna Nortje, Deputy General Manager of Hisense South Africa, highlighted the company’s dedication to community empowerment. Through partnerships with children’s homes and educational institutions, Hisense is nurturing young minds and fostering a passion for technology among students.

“Our ongoing CSR projects aim to inspire the next generation of tech leaders,” remarked Nortje during the event, which engaged students in interactive tech sessions. Hisense’s proactive approach extends beyond production to environmental stewardship, exemplified by their R40,000 donation to South African National Parks for penguin conservation at Boulders Beach.

Join Hisense in celebrating their commitment to sustainable manufacturing, community enrichment, and environmental conservation. Together, we can build a brighter future for South Africa through innovation and compassion. 🌟
