The new Unlimited 5G Plans come in three affordable tiers: 10 Mbps at Kes 3,500 monthly, 20 Mbps at Kes 5,000 monthly, and 30 Mbps at Kes 6,500 monthly. Subscribers need an Airtel 5G router, available at Airtel shops for Kes 2,999. These plans include unlimited data usage, ensuring customers can stay connected without worrying about data limits.
Airtel’s 5G routers come with an innovative power backup solution, ensuring up to 5 hours of uninterrupted connectivity during power outages. Customers can purchase the 5G routers at Airtel shops or order through the Airtel Kenya website and dial *400# for home delivery. Renewing data plans is made easy through *400# or the MyAirtel App.
Since launching its 5G network last year, Airtel has nearly doubled its 5G footprint in Kenya, expanding from 372 sites to over 690 sites across 39 counties. This rapid expansion highlights Airtel’s commitment to providing unmatched connectivity solutions nationwide.
With 89% of the Kenyan population currently covered, Airtel aims to expand its network infrastructure to achieve 94% coverage by the end of 2024. This expansion will ensure that more individuals can enjoy reliable and high-speed internet connectivity.
