YoLa Fresh, a Moroccan agri-tech startup building a transparent and sustainable fresh food network, has secured a US$7 million pre-Series A funding round. This significant investment will fuel their expansion across Africa and empower them to tackle food security challenges.

Founded by Larbi Alaoui Belrhiti and Youssef Mamou, YoLa Fresh connects farmers directly with retailers and food service companies through their innovative platform. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, they track produce from farm to retail, ensuring transparency and minimizing waste within the food supply chain.

This impressive funding round was led by Al Mada Ventures, with participation from Algebra Ventures, E3 Capital, Janngo Capital, and FMO. The capital will be used to expand YoLa Fresh’s logistics network, bolster their technology infrastructure, and empower more farmers to deliver high-quality produce directly to consumers.
