Visa has officially launched the applications for the 2024 edition of the Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI), a global open innovation program targeting fintech startups worldwide.
This competition offers fintech startups a platform to pitch their innovative solutions to tackle future challenges in payments and commerce.
VEI winners not only receive equity-free funding but also gain access to Visa’s extensive network of partners in the banking, merchant, venture capital, and government sectors. This exposure provides invaluable opportunities for collaboration and growth, with the added benefit of being recognized by one of the world’s most trusted brands.
Applications for VEI 2024 close on May 6th, with successful candidates advancing to a virtual competition in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) region on July 17th. The ultimate winner from the CEMEA finals will compete in the global finale at the prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco on October 29th, 2024.
