I & M Foundation is committed to environmental conservation with a significant investment of sh 162 million in a three-year partnership with the Kenya Forest Service to restore the Ngong Road Forest in Nairobi.
The project entails three key phases, beginning with the rehabilitation of fencing and infrastructure, ensuring the protection and preservation of the forest’s boundaries and essential facilities. Following this, the focus shifts to the restoration of degraded forest areas, rejuvenating the ecosystem and enhancing biodiversity. Additionally, the project aims to scale up seedling production, fostering sustainable reforestation efforts for long-term environmental impact.
As part of its commitment to community engagement and environmental stewardship, I & M Foundation will facilitate mobility and security within the Ngong Road Forest. This initiative ensures accessibility for stakeholders involved in conservation efforts while safeguarding the forest against illegal activities.
Join us in this crucial endeavor to restore and preserve the Ngong Road Forest for future generations! Together, we can make a lasting impact on environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.
