Visa has appointed Chad Pollock as the new Country Manager and Vice President for East Africa. With a background spanning finance, technology, and energy industries, Pollock brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Aida Diarra, Senior Vice President at Visa and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed her confidence in Pollock’s ability to drive the digitalization of payments and enhance financial inclusion in the region.
His appointment aligns with Visa’s vision of building a strong regional team to capitalize on critical business opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
Prior to this role, Pollock served as Vice President, Head of Global Client Strategy & Operations, where he played a key role in developing business analytics and commercial operations for Visa’s largest international clients.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management, Pollock is well-equipped to lead Visa’s operations in East Africa and drive the company’s mission of enabling seamless and secure digital payments across the region.
