Kenya’s ICT and Digital Economy CS, CS ELIUD OWALO, announced the government’s ambitious plan to establish digital hubs across all 47 counties, aiming to equip the youth with essential digital skills. These hubs, integral to the Ajira Digital Program, will serve as platforms to provide access to digital job opportunities, empowering over one million young Kenyans.

Mr. Owalo emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting partnerships with organizations and individuals passionate about driving this initiative forward, ensuring its success and widespread impact. Under the Kenya Kwanza agenda, the vision is clear: to build a digitally empowered nation where citizens can seamlessly access work opportunities and essential services.
