Airtel Uganda has welcomed Buremba Senior Secondary School in Kazo District to the Airtel Africa Foundation’s Adopt A School Programme, extending digital learning support to 719 learners and 23 teachers.

Under the programme, the school received a refurbished computer laboratory, 10 desktop computers and a high-speed internet connection. The initiative also included improvements to the school’s learning environment.

The support is intended to increase students’ access to technology in their everyday education while equipping teachers with additional tools to support classroom instruction and introduce learners to a wider range of digital resources.

By improving access to computers and reliable internet connectivity, the programme aims to strengthen digital learning opportunities and help prepare students for an increasingly technology-driven world.

Buremba Senior Secondary School is one of four institutions included in the programme’s latest rollout in Uganda. The other schools are Arua Public Primary School, Kibeedi C/U Primary School and Kasaana I Primary School.

Through the Adopt A School Programme, the Airtel Africa Foundation continues to support educational environments and expand access to digital resources for learners and teachers.
