Mastercard has launched Advanced B2B Analytics, a card acceptance analytics platform designed to help financial institutions and corporate customers identify supplier payment opportunities and improve commercial card adoption.

Emirates NBD is among the first financial institutions to launch the solution in the UAE, while ABSA Group is also among the early adopters offering the capability to corporate clients.

Advanced B2B Analytics uses payment and accounts payable data to provide dynamic insights into supplier acceptance opportunities. The platform uses AI-powered acceptance propensity scoring to help issuers and corporate buyers identify suppliers that may be more likely to accept card payments.

The solution also provides interactive dashboards and analytics, giving businesses greater visibility into payment flows and opportunities to optimise working capital. Mastercard said the platform can help financial institutions target supplier engagement more effectively and scale commercial card usage.

According to Mastercard, fragmented payment data and manual processes can make it difficult for buyers and issuers to identify and prioritise supplier acceptance opportunities. Advanced B2B Analytics is designed to turn these data points into actionable insights that can support procurement efficiency, supplier engagement and commercial payment growth.

Mastercard Global Head of Corporate Solutions Marc Pettican said the platform combines payment insights with Mastercard’s commercial payments expertise to help issuers identify where card acceptance can create value and engage suppliers more effectively.

The platform forms part of Mastercard’s broader strategy to embed data, analytics and artificial intelligence across the commercial payments lifecycle, with the company planning to expand its use of intelligence across supplier and acquirer ecosystems.

Mastercard estimates the addressable B2B payments opportunity at approximately $80 trillion, highlighting the scale of the market for data-driven commercial payment solutions.
