The Airtel Africa Foundation is strengthening digital education and STEM learning in Seychelles through its support for the Frontier Technology Clubs Pilot Programme, reinforcing its commitment to education, innovation and digital inclusion across Africa.

Implemented in partnership with the Seychelles Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, the initiative is designed to equip students with practical technology skills by introducing them to emerging technologies through hands-on learning experiences. The programme encourages learners to develop critical digital competencies while fostering creativity, innovation and problem-solving.

As part of the initiative, the Foundation has supplied participating schools with robotics kits and advanced digital learning tools, enabling students to gain practical experience with technology in classroom and club environments. By combining theory with interactive learning, the programme helps prepare young people for future opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The Frontier Technology Clubs Pilot Programme is part of the Airtel Africa Foundation’s broader School Adoption Programme, which focuses on improving learning environments and supporting better educational outcomes across the continent. The Foundation believes that expanding access to digital tools and STEM education plays a critical role in preparing the next generation for an increasingly technology-driven economy.

By investing in digital inclusion, innovation and future-ready skills, the Airtel Africa Foundation continues to support Africa’s growing digital transformation while helping young people develop the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in tomorrow’s workforce.
