AXIAN Telecom has announced a strategic partnership with Oracle to drive a group-wide enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation across its diverse portfolio, including Yas Tanzania, TowerCo of Africa, STELLARIX, zuku, MVola, and other operating entities. The initiative marks a major step in strengthening its digital and operational foundation across Africa.

The transformation forms a core pillar of AXIAN Telecom’s NEXT 2030 strategy, which is focused on building a unified digital ecosystem to support long-term growth and expansion. Through Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, the group aims to standardize processes, data systems, and operating models across all business units, improving alignment and operational efficiency.

A key objective of the program is to establish a stronger digital core that enables AI-driven capabilities across the organization. This is expected to enhance governance, improve real-time visibility across operations, and support faster, insight-led decision-making, particularly within finance and supply chain functions, ultimately enabling greater speed and coordination across the enterprise.

AXIAN Telecom selected Oracle based on its leadership in cloud technology, AI innovation, and proven experience in delivering large-scale transformation programs within the telecommunications sector. The partnership is expected to provide the scalability and resilience required to support the group’s evolving multi-market operations.

The rollout will be implemented in phases, with the first major milestone scheduled for go-live in Tanzania later this year. The initiative is positioned as a long-term strategic investment aimed at strengthening AXIAN Telecom’s digital backbone, enhancing operational excellence, and supporting sustainable growth as it advances toward its NEXT 2030 vision.
