NTT DATA has announced the appointment of Joe Pace as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Global Data Centers division. Based in Sacramento, California, Pace will report directly to Doug Adams, President and CEO of NTT Global Data Centers, and succeeds Florian Winkler, who recently departed the company. His appointment comes at a critical time when the demand for resilient, scalable, and sustainable digital infrastructure continues to accelerate globally.
In his new role, Joe Pace will lead the development and transformation of global operational functions with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery. With more than two decades of experience spanning strategic transformation, capital-intensive projects, and leading high-performing teams, Pace brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Prior to this role, Pace served as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at NTT Global Data Centers, where he successfully led and executed strategic initiatives and change management programs. His proven track record of anticipating challenges and implementing scalable solutions makes him well-positioned to guide the company’s operational growth as it continues expanding its footprint across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
