Huawei has unveiled a suite of new artificial intelligence infrastructure, cloud services and partner capabilities designed to help governments and enterprises deploy AI at scale. The announcements were made at Huawei Connect 2026 in Shanghai, held from September 17 to 19 under the theme “Advancing the Agentic World,” and combine Huawei Cloud’s latest AI infrastructure and enterprise agent capabilities with a new partner support system called SCALE. The offerings are intended to address the technology and ecosystem requirements involved in moving enterprise AI from experimentation to practical deployment.
Huawei Cloud announced the global launch of its latest AI Cluster Service (AICS), alongside its Agentic Model as a Service (MaaS) platform, AgentArts enterprise agent platform and Industry AI Foundry. These services are designed to provide organisations with the computing, AI models, data and tools required to develop and operate AI applications. Dr Peter Zhou, Director of the Board at Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, said the company’s approach to AI infrastructure is evolving to support the increasing use of AI agents in production environments.
Huawei Cloud’s new AICS delivers 20 per cent higher token throughput than its previous generation of compute service and is scheduled to become commercially available in markets outside China from November 30. The AgentArts enterprise-grade agent platform currently serves more than 100 enterprises and is scheduled to become available outside China from December 30. The Industry AI Foundry brings together industry scenarios, models, data, knowledge and AI agents, with more than 1,000 industry-specific assets and more than 1,000 deployed projects across sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, finance and AI for Science. Smart Government and AI Hardware zones have also been added to the platform.
Alongside its infrastructure and cloud announcements, Huawei launched SCALE, a new partner support system intended to help partners develop, validate, deliver and operate AI solutions more efficiently. Leo Chen, Huawei’s Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise Sales, said the initiative builds on the company’s “Huawei + Partners” model by combining Huawei’s technology capabilities with partners’ industry expertise. SCALE covers five areas: Scenario-based Solutions, Co-innovation, Aligned Marketing, Local Services with Consistent Quality, and Efficient Collaboration. Huawei is providing partners with AI foundation products covering computing, storage, networks, security and data protection, as well as reference architectures, verification environments and development tools.
According to Huawei, its partners have developed more than 100 scenario-based solutions across eight industries, while the company has worked with partners and customers to establish more than 130 online and offline showcases globally. The partner ecosystem is intended to help organisations develop AI solutions that reflect specific industry, regulatory and market requirements. The announcements come as governments and enterprises across the Middle East increase investment in AI and seek to move beyond experimentation towards operational deployment, targeting the growing need for computing capacity, secure infrastructure, industry expertise and local delivery capabilities.
