VAST Data and CrowdStrike have announced new integrations designed to strengthen enterprise cybersecurity across the infrastructure, data and AI workloads supporting production artificial intelligence systems.

The collaboration brings CrowdStrike’s Falcon security platform into the VAST AI Operating System, with native support for the Falcon sensor already available. The companies are also developing deeper integrations with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon Guardian, CrowdStrike’s AI Detection and Response solution.

The partnership addresses growing security challenges as enterprises move AI from experimentation into large-scale production. As AI environments become increasingly interconnected, sensitive data can move across infrastructure, users, models and AI agents, creating new points of exposure.

By combining VAST’s visibility into enterprise data activity with CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence, detection and response capabilities, the companies aim to provide organisations with greater context when identifying suspicious behaviour and investigating potential threats.

The VAST AI Operating System will natively support the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor, extending endpoint and workload protection across infrastructure supporting mission-critical AI applications.

VAST’s audit telemetry will also integrate with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, enabling security teams to correlate information about how users and machines access enterprise data with CrowdStrike’s broader threat intelligence and detection capabilities.

A further integration between Falcon Guardian and VAST InsightEngine will introduce threat detection into AI data pipelines, helping organisations identify sensitive or potentially risky information before it reaches downstream AI systems and knowledge bases.

The collaboration will also support the identification of sensitive information, including personally identifiable information, while detecting emerging AI-related threats such as prompt injection and jailbreak attempts.

Native Falcon sensor support for VAST is certified and available, while integrations with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon Guardian are currently available in private preview.

The partnership reflects growing demand for security architectures capable of protecting not only AI infrastructure, but also the data, models and workflows that power enterprise AI applications.
