MTN Uganda Foundation has extended its 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign to Luuka, focusing on digital skills development and improved access to healthcare services at the community level.
At Kiyunga Health Centre IV, medical records officers received training on the Electronic Medical Records Information System (EMRIS), while Village Health Teams and Community Health Workers were equipped with digital literacy skills.
The initiative also introduced women to clinicPesa, a digital savings service designed to help them save towards childbirth and related healthcare expenses.
The programme highlights how digital tools can strengthen frontline healthcare delivery while improving access to health information and financial solutions within local communities.
The Luuka activities form part of MTN Uganda’s broader 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign, which seeks to promote more equitable healthcare access and strengthen community-based health systems.
