The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has partnered with Mastercard to launch the USD Corporate Debit Card, providing Egyptian businesses with a secure payment solution for international US dollar transactions.
The new card is designed to help both large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make secure payments to international suppliers, service providers and digital platforms. Available through NBE branches nationwide, the solution gives businesses access to Mastercard’s global payments network, supporting cross-border trade and international business operations.
According to the National Bank of Egypt, the partnership is aimed at simplifying international payments while strengthening Egypt’s digital payments ecosystem. The initiative is expected to help businesses participate more effectively in the global economy by enabling seamless and secure cross-border transactions.
Mastercard said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting inclusive, borderless commerce through secure payment technologies. By combining NBE’s corporate banking capabilities with Mastercard’s international payments infrastructure, the solution is expected to improve the efficiency of global business transactions for Egyptian companies.
