Huawei has unveiled an upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Network Solution for Southern Africa, strengthening its strategy to support AI-driven digital transformation through secure, intelligent and autonomous network infrastructure.
The announcement was made during the Huawei Network Summit 2026 in Johannesburg, where the company also introduced its enhanced Xinghe Intelligent Network product portfolio alongside the Xinghe AI CloudCampus SaaS Service Platform for the Southern African market. Huawei said the new solutions are designed to help organisations build AI-ready networks capable of supporting increasingly complex digital workloads.
According to Huawei, the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence is transforming enterprise networking requirements, with businesses moving beyond traditional high-bandwidth connectivity towards AI-centric architectures that support intelligent applications, autonomous operations and enhanced cybersecurity. The company said modern enterprise networks must deliver lossless computing, integrated sensing, end-to-end security and greater automation to support the next generation of AI-powered services.
Huawei also introduced the Xinghe AI CloudCampus SaaS Service Platform, a cloud-based network management solution that integrates AI-powered operations and maintenance capabilities. The platform is designed to make intelligent network management more accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises by providing advanced network monitoring, automation and optimisation as a cloud service.
The summit also highlighted real-world digital transformation initiatives across sectors including finance, healthcare, transportation, energy and internet services. Huawei reaffirmed its commitment to working with regional partners to build secure and intelligent digital infrastructure that supports AI adoption, business innovation and economic growth across Southern Africa.
