KQ announces the revival of Nairobi-Maputo passenger flights starting June 14, marking the end of a five-year hiatus. With growing demand for travel between East and Southern Africa, KQ is set to reconnect these vibrant regions.

Flights will operate three times per week using Embraer E190 aircraft, offering travelers convenient and comfortable journeys. To celebrate the reopening, an introductory fare of Sh102,600 for economy class and Sh195,780 for first-class seats is available for the inaugural flight on June 15.

Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial and Customer Officer at KQ, underscores the significance of this route in fostering connections and enhancing trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between Kenya and Mozambique. This expansion aligns with KQ’s commitment to rebuilding its route network and capacity post-Covid-19 pandemic disruptions.
