Glovo, the multi-category app, has forged a strategic partnership with Pizza Inn, offering Kenyan customers an extensive menu of pizza flavors and other delicious options delivered within an average of 40 minutes.

The move responds to a significant surge in pizza consumption in Kenya, with Glovo experiencing a 60% increase in pizza-related partners in 2023 compared to the previous year. The data, released on World Pizza Day, highlights December as the peak month for pizza orders, with Sundays being the busiest day, reflecting Kenyans’ love for pizza during weekends and festive seasons.

Notably, Kenya ranks fourth in pizza consumption in Africa, with Nairobi alone covering 80% of pizza orders in the country. To celebrate the partnership and World Pizza Day, Glovo offers consumers substantial discounts on pizza orders, reinforcing its commitment to providing convenience and variety.

The collaboration underscores Glovo’s role as the go-to platform for premium dining options, while Pizza Inn’s MD acknowledges the importance of such alliances in meeting evolving customer expectations in the digital age, ensuring a seamless dining experience nationwide.
