Unilever appoints Ben Lang’at as EVP for East and West Africa, effective January 2024. Lang’at, former Managing Director at Friesland Campina, brings extensive consumer goods experience and a Unilever background since 1993. In this strategic role, he aims to drive sustainable growth, promote innovation, and build resilient businesses across Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Francophone Africa, and Uganda.

Lang’at’s return to Unilever, where he initiated his career, underscores his deep connection to the company. All country heads in the region will report directly to him. Based in Lagos, Lang’at’s focus is on strong brand building and future-fit talent, aligning with Unilever’s values and strategic objectives in East and West Africa.
