Bank NXT, an Egyptian provider of retail and corporate banking solutions, has extended its collaboration with Network International to accelerate the digitalisation of its payment services and modernise its payments infrastructure.

As part of the agreement, Bank NXT will migrate its automated teller machine (ATM) and debit card portfolio to Network International’s end-to-end processing platform. The move is expected to streamline operations, strengthen security controls and improve the customer experience.

The agreement supports Bank NXT’s strategy to advance its payments infrastructure and expand its services while building trust among existing and prospective customers.

Tamer Seif El-Din, CEO and Managing Director of Bank NXT, said the migration would help improve operational efficiency, speed up the introduction of new services and deliver a more seamless and secure digital banking experience. He added that the collaboration aligns with the bank’s expansion strategy and the changing needs of the Egyptian market.

Dr Reda Helal, Group Managing Director for Processing, Africa and Growth Markets at Network International, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting banks across the Middle East and Africa with end-to-end payment processing capabilities.

The collaboration comes as Egypt’s banking sector undergoes digital transformation, supported by the Central Bank of Egypt’s efforts to foster a digital economy.

Through the extended partnership, Bank NXT aims to strengthen its infrastructure and enhance its ability to deliver scalable, secure and future-ready financial services.
